This is an UPDATE on July 14, 2025 of the roadway closure for the River Road roadway reconstruction project.
July 14, 2025
- The contractor will be continuing construction of Stage 3 of the project. River Road will experience intermittent delays.
- Asphalt paving of the surface layer was completed on July 3.
- Miscellaneous concrete work will continue next week.
- Topsoil placement will continue Monday followed by the remainder of sign placement.
- Contractor will be placing shoulder gravel early next week.
- The contractor will continue working on Stage 4 of the project. River Rd. will experience intermittent delays from Kansas Ave. to Waubeek Rd.
- Miscellaneous restoration and clean up work will continue next week.
These dates are tentative and subject to change due weather and contractor operations.
Detour removal is planned for the end of the week of July 14, 2025.
Please be patient when traveling through the work zone and plan on using the project Detour/alternate routes to avoid closures if possible.
